Public Participation in Community Planning Using the Image Preference Survey
Representatives of the North East Area Plan are seeking public outreach opportunities for administering the Image Preference Survey. The IPS is a planning method that uses a visual series of questions that draws out responses from groups of people. For best results, it should be given to a wide range of plan area residents. The survey includes some discussion slides to help clarify the image rankings–so it is the residents who interpret the scores, not others.

The Community Survey is an important way the city can learn what is happening in your neighborhood today and the Image Preference Survey will assist in what changes would make the Northeast Side…a better place in the future!
