Come Join in Some Holiday Fun!

WHAT: 2nd Annual Holiday Caroling

WHEN: Thursday December 20th at 7:00pm

WHERE: We are meeting at the corner of
Bartlett & Hampshire

It was a cool, crisp Halloween evening, and the Cambridge Woods bike path was illuminated by jack-o-lanterns, guiding a parade of lions, princesses and firemen through the woods to the Urban Ecology Center, where they were met with treats and a blazing warm fire.

The party was given by the CWNA Fun and Games Committee with help from several generous neighbors and the Urban Ecology Center, thank you! The day couldn’t have been more beautiful. We had thirteen families participating. The Boat House corner of Cambridge and Hampshire was the definate “hotspot” with a grand array of things for sale as well as wonderful hospitality from the neighbors holding the sales.  Enjoy a few photos from the day in the picture gallery.

Our last neighborhood rummage was so successful many people have asked if we can do another one. The answer is YES! If we get enough people who have rummage to sell – we will do it! 

Working around block parties and such other neighborhood fun, the date has been set for Sunday, September 30^th from 9am-3pm. If you are interested in having a sale at your home, please contact me, Leslie Woodruff at 962-2477 as soon as possible. 

CWNA will provide signage and put an ad in the Journal Sentinel.

Many households, lots of stuff!
All who wish to take part will have their addresses included on a list made available to the public. In past years when we¹ve done this we find that shoppers treat it like a scavenger hunt and make a point of trying to hit every address on the list!
The sale will be advertised in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the cost to be paid for by CWNA. We will also provide signage to be positioned at key intersections on the perimeter of the neighborhood.If you¹d like to take part, please contact Leslie at 962-2477 so that your address will be included on the list of participating households.
And if you¹re not selling, consider buying.
Remember: one person¹s trash is another¹s treasure

What we need from you is participation in helping with events we already have in place, such as The 5-Alarm Chili-Fest, as well as your ideas for new events or projects like The 1st Annual Neighborhood Caroling Group.
